Stop for a moment and think of everything that you may have seen in horse role plays so far. Elemental. Light vs Dark. Monarchies. Gods and Goddesses. Now I want you to wrap it all up and throw it out. You won't need it here.
Imagine a single large herd of equines that have lived together since the lands began. Imagine that there is no king here, but each rules and guards his own family within the sea of other families. Imagine a society where order and safety, power and position are all that you know. And if you should rebel against it, you are sent to your death in exile.
But that's just one side of the story.
Imagine a place where you are one of select souls that burns for freedom. Imagine a place where you always live in lurking danger as death preys upon you at all times. Imagine fighting for what you know is right even as you stand alone and against all the odds.
Weather: Mornings remain chilly about Ganthora, but as the day comes on with the sun, things always brighten and warm up. Rains come and go often, keeping the lands fresh and alive. The Outskirts see little of the rains once they finish falling upon Ganthora, but the sun always takes its time to warm the arid lands with the occasional patchy cloud coverage.
Temperatures: Lows in the 30s, highs in 70s

Ganthora
Thorn Mountains While no equines can venture to the tops of these steep mountains, they do border half of Ganthora and offer crisp mountain air and vegetation in the lower parts.

Ganthora Valley (2 sub-boards) Main part of Ganthora. Here the tribe mostly resides and dwells within. Lush grasses and wildflowers all range in this open area.

Eracelli Lake Bordering the grove and the valley lies this immense lake of Ganthora. The crowning jewel of the lands, Eracelli Lake reflects the mountains on its calm surface. Equines enjoy their time on its sandy shores and in the cool waters.

Demeter Grove Clusters of trees fill this portion of Ganthora. Not thick enough to be a woods, but favored for rest from shade. A favorite place for gatherings and for a treat from the fruit trees.

Venture Plains The final area of Ganthora before the outskirts. Faes found here are often treated more harshly for fear that they are attempting to run away. Warrior stags flock here to mock battle and to patrol the border. Keeping Ganthoran faes in and outcasts out.

Outskirts
The Badlands A land consisted of rock, some areas create high walls and wind about like the grand canyon. Other areas, it lowers and flattens out. In some areas, few sparse plants grow.

Notus Savannah A flat and dry place with few low growing trees. The winds here always seem to be blowing. There is lots of dried grass here, and while its not as tasteful as the greenery from Ganthora, beggars can't be choosers and it will still sustain even a starving equine.

Murky Swamp The smallest portion of the outskirts is this outlet of water. A cluster of thick trees, mossy branches, and dark waters. Equines come here to get replenished, but predators loom here knowing that equines come here often.

Sanctuary Caverns (1 sub-board) The one true place of quiet solitude. A winding abyss of caves beneath the badlands. Dark, cool and open for shelter for the outsiders.
