The Grand Rules
.General.
- Players must be respectful to each other. Fighting will result in both players getting temporary bans and if the fighting continues, it will become permanent.
- While this is advertised as an intermediate-advanced rpg, don't let it scare you away, I'd love to help new players learn the art of wild horse rping, but be prepared to become a better rper. I don't want to have to set a post minimum, but I will if members begin posting 1 paragraph posts.
- Correct spelling and grammar people! Please, please, please use it!
- No power playing, no god-like characters, etc. You know the drill. Be fair when making your characters and be creative when creating them.
- REMAIN ACTIVE! There will be activity checks held and inactive members will be deleted!
- I don't care if you have all your characters in a single account or if you keep multiple accounts, your choice.
- Stags are higher than faes. Sorry, but that’s how this game goes.
- Breeding cannot be graphic. It’s in Proboards rules.
Breeding may not always result in a foal, sometimes there may be a miscarriage or still born.
- Inbreeding, while as humans we repulse at that, is a thing of nature in the animal kingdom. This is an animal rpg so lets not get picky with the breeding in terms of blood relations.
- Force breeding is allowed. Again, no details of the actual breeding.
- Foaling occurs two weeks following the actual breeding time.
After the two weeks, faes will make a post in the birthing area (in the meadow for Ganthoran faes and in the caves for Outsider faes) and give the stats of both the sire and dam. A staff member will give the new foals stats at that time.
- Foals, at the earliest, are considered “adult” at the age of two. Breeding can occur any time past then.
.Ganthora.
- Stags without faes are not considered worthless by any means. They are just bachelors until they can earn a fae from another stag or from the king, but they are still members of the Tribe.
- Faes must obey their stags. Failure to do so can and most likely will result in punishment from their designated stag. The worst punishment a fae can receive is being kicked out from the Tribe completely, but such action must be confirmed by other stags as well (this is to prevent stags from throwing out faes for any reason, they must check with at least two other stags before banishing the fae. This also gives the other stags the chance to take the fae since the keeper stag doesn't want her anymore.).
- There are no claiming grounds in Ganthora, believe me a fae will not stay unclaimed for long no matter where she is. Fae's who do not have a stag are open for claim at anytime no matter where they are at with the exception of the Outskirts, obviously.
- Stags can challenge for other stags' faes. Battles are posted in the flatts and will be judged by staff members.
- Please, keep the fae attitude in check when making your characters. Understand that most faes within Gonthora are happy with the Tribe, it's been the way it is for years. Yes, there are some that may be ruffled by the idea of being lower than a stag, but this is the way of survival so most accept it. Some even enjoy being seen as a sort of currency that reflects a stags worth just by possessing them.
.Outskirts.
- These lands are very dangerous, know this in advance before deciding to send your character out here.
- Most of the outsiders are faes who are either cast-offs or runaways.
- Equines who live on the outskirts are not as strong as the equines of Ganthora as they lack the proper nutrients and safety that the Ganthoran equines have in the valley.
- Outsiders that try to sneak back onto the Ganthoran valley are at risk of being recaptured. All a stag must do is over-power a fae which, as the first rules states, would be easy considering that a fae is weaker than a stag. Especially one who has lived on the outside compared to a healthy Ganthoran stag.
- Outsiders, besides having less food and water, are also prone to predators as the wild wolves roam on the outsiders, ready to prey on them.
- Fae's on the Outskirts are overall safe from Ganthoran stags, but just being in the Outskirts doesn't deem them as "safe." They will still have to be on their guard.
